E210739114Identify and Select ProjectsIdentify and Select ProjectsDescription: The CTSI will develop new BPA Fish and Wildlife projects to assist BPA in meeting their requirements under the Willamette Wildlife Mitigation process as well as the 2008 Willamette Basin Biological Opinion. The CTSI will perform this task through existing staff. The Tribe will seek out restoration and conservation opportunities in the Willamette Basin utilizing GIS databases, traditional knowledge, existing data (e.g. LIDAR, aerial photos, tax lot maps etc), collect new basic field data such as presence absence surveys (field observations and game cameras), landowner interactions (approach private property owners for information on purchase options), networking with other stakeholders, the science-based prioritization matrix established by the Willamette Wildlife Mitigation Advisory Group and the responsible agency, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. The CTSI will meet with the mitigation working groups, ODFW and BPA on a regular basis to discuss potential projects the CTSI has identified as well as to request leads on potential projects.$36,52927.69%04/01/202103/31/2022
